School Board Members Visit Wilson Tech

School board members recently toured exhibits and visited with both Wilson Tech students and BOCES staff to learn more about the offerings of Western Suffolk BOCES. The featured speaker was Jahad Hoyte, a senior from Half Hollow Hills West in Tech’s Aviation Science/Flight program, who described how he overcame his fears and successfully learned to pilot an airplane and made plans to pursue his aviation studies in college.

The evening culminated with a dinner prepared and served by students in Tech’s Culinary Arts program.
