How to Help the Bereaved Child/Adolescent in the Classroom 2-Part VIRTUAL Series presented by Deborah Salitsky – 7-8:30pm

Educators/Support Staff can at times feel ill-equipped to handle the sensitive issue of grief. This course will greatly assist educators/support staff with an understanding of how the grieving process affects children and adolescents and ways to provide effective support. Educators and support staff will review: -the stages of grief, -differences between child and teen grief, -suicide, -sudden death, -triggers and pragmatic ways to help child/adolescent in the classroom.
