Boards of Education Approve WSBOCES Administrative Budget

The Western Suffolk BOCES 2020-21 Administrative Budget was approved in a vote of the Boards of Education of the component school districts on April 28, 2020.

In addition to voting on the budget, the Boards of Education also elected incumbents Jeannette Santos of Amityville and Peter Wunsch of Commack and newcomer James Kaden of South Huntington to serve as trustees on the Western Suffolk BOCES Board.

“We are very appreciative of the support these positive votes show for Western Suffolk BOCES and our efforts on behalf of our communities,” said Michael Flynn, Chief Operating Officer. “We remain committed to our component school district partners and look forward to providing high quality Career and Technical, Special Education and support services in the coming school year in a fiscally responsible manner.“
