How to Be a Kid – 2-Day Workshop **IN PERSON** presented by Dr. Crystal Miller – 8:30-2:30pm

How To Be A Kid™ is a whole child, kid-centric approach to learning that teaches kids the way that kids learn. It can be seamlessly integrated into ANY curriculum. The How To Be A Kid™ program has a strong base in Social-Emotional Learning and introduces the concept of Sensate Learning™ which incorporates the whole body, multi-sensory methods and principles of neurodevelopment into education. The goal of this program is to teach educators how to introduce deliberate and strategic movement into the learning process to enhance focus, retention, and comprehension. Today we know that the more active the body is in learning, the more meaningful connections the brain can make to the content. How To Be A Kid™ was thoughtfully designed to empower educators with knowledge and resources that can transform the learning process for the better. Eligible for 12 hours CTLE credit. Can use 1-1/2 Consortium seats. If district pays, district approval must be confirmed prior to start of session.
