STEM & Coding Curriculum by Tynker VIRTUAL Demo – 10-11am

Tynker is an educational programming platform to help students learn coding skills. In a world where technology touches every aspect of our lives, it is crucial that students become active creators of technology. Tynker is a K-12 STEM and coding curriculum that allows students to learn in a game-based, high-interest format. It’s a robust, age-appropriate, and carefully sequenced curriculum that teaches students to code, using projects and many puzzle-based and hands-on lessons. Tynker courses start with icon-based puzzles with voice-overs for K-2, then introduce coding skills via block-based lessons and projects for Elementary students, including core subject lessons for math, English, science, and social studies. Tynker Middle School curriculum makes a smooth transition from block-based coding to text-based courses such as JavaScript, Python, and HTML, and finally Tynker’s High School curriculum includes programming courses such as Java, Python, Data Science, and 2 AP CS courses: AP CS A and AP CS Principles
