Sticks and Stones Implicit Bias Workshop **IN PERSON** presented by Stacey Mooney – 8:30-2:30pm

Learn how to promote social unity and increase cultural awareness in your school and community. The goal is to bridge cultural divides and make our schools and communities more welcoming and inclusive places for people of all abilities and backgrounds by helping participants see beyond their own personal world view. This course will fulfill the NYS Dept of Ed training grant requirements for the Many Threads, One Fabric (MTOF) NYSUT-led implicit bias training for public school educators. This course will teach educators to be leaders committed to racial justice, diversity and equity work. The course goal will also establish implicit bias awareness as a year-round continuing education vehicle for diversity, equity, inclusion work in local affiliates.
