Use of Videos in the Classroom to Provide Social Emotional Learning – Two Part VIRTUAL Series presented by Deborah Salitsky, LCSW – 7-8:30pm

This 2-part workshop will show how videos can have an amazing impact on social emotional learning in the classroom. Participants will come to understand the use of word vs wordless videos when helping students (including SED and ELL) on the skill of inferencing, building community relationships, and to enhance SEL topics (bullying, empathy, kindness, integrity, LGBTQ, etc). Each participant will be provided with a library of videos to use with students. This powerful tool will greatly enhance classroom curriculum.
