As the electronics in today’s vehicles have become more complex, technicians need the highly technical training found in the Automotive Technical Training program. Western Suffolk BOCES is accredited by the Council on Occupational Education (COE) and the Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Education Foundation. Gain the skills you need for a satisfying career with many job opportunities in as few as 9 months!

Upon successful completion of this full-time program at Western Suffolk BOCES’ Northport campus, you will have acquired the skills needed to work in an auto dealership, auto repair shop or similar setting as an entry-level automotive technician. The ASE-approved curriculum helps prepare students to take the Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) certification exams.
