The first Long Island School Library Systems Regional Institute, held on November 4, 2014, was a huge success. The School Library Systems of Western Suffolk BOCES, Eastern Suffolk BOCES and Nassau BOCES collaborated to bring this Institute to the school library media specialists on Long Island.
More than 200 school library media specialists from all over Long Island came to the Farmingdale Public Library for a day of professional learning, networking, and connecting with old friends. Bridget Sitler from Nassau BOCES School Library System has created a LibGuide that includes pictures, tweets, links to the presentations and more.
